More wallets!

We just got in a new shipment of both small and large wallets, as well as a couple of very Canadian passport wallets. Come check them out!

Do you SOAK?

We just got in some new stock that we think you all will love!

Do you love SOAK wash as much as I do? It’s a fabulous no rinse cleanser for your hand-knits and delicates, that comes in several wonderful scents, as well as a scentless version. We just got in bottles in Aquae, Celebration, Lacey and Scentless varieties. We’ve also got single use packages in several scents, which are great for travel or stocking stuffers, or even just to try out a new scent.

The most exciting part for me, though, is SOAK’s new foot cream: Heel. We opened up a pot to use as a tester, and it’s fabulous! Their tag line is “Heel: For feet worthy of hand-knit socks”. I can see why. It’s rich and luxurious without being greasy at all, and smells amazing. Come check it out.

Dawson Winters are Here!

Don’t worry though… you’ll love our Dawson Winters. They’re yummy, piping hot, warm-your-soul tea lattes! If you haven’t tried this tea latte made with our custom Fireside blend, now’s the perfect time. It’s a great mix of black tea infused with cinnamon and orange oils, with cloves, cardamom, ginger and a hint of peppermint, all steeped in wintery white steamed milk.

I have to admit that I’m a little partial to it. I came up with the blend because these spices remind me of baking for Christmas back east. And being the crazy French Canadian that I am, I felt it needed a quirky/shocking name!

Come try one; it’s sure to warm you up on this cold, blustery day.

Needles… needles everywhere!

Knitting needles, that is!

Yup, you heard it here first. We’ve installed our slat wall, and now have a lovely little display of needles next to the scrumptious yarn. We’ve currently got DPN’s in sock sizes to go with all that fabulous sock yarn, as well as fixed and interchangeable circular needles (in rosewood, laminated birch or metal). We’ve also got sets! Whether you’re looking for a small set to try out circular needles, or a deluxe set with all the most common needle or crochet hook sizes, we’ve got them!

Do you love smooth, sleek metal needles? Or are you partial to the warmth of a wooden needle in your hand? Do you like to try things that are a little different (cubic needles anyone)? Then, you should pop in to Faking Sanity this week and check out all the new goodies! Oh, and did I mention the assortment of handy knitting tools?

There are a few more surprises on the way, too, so do pop in, or watch this space for new arrivals in the coming weeks!

It’s nearly that time again…

…time for the time-honoured Christmas list tradition, that is!

Did you know that you can leave a Christmas wishlist at Faking Sanity, so that Santa knows which Namaste bag or pretty yarn you want to go with your favourite tea this Christmas? Pop in and let us know what you would like… If Santa pops in, we’ll let him know exactly what’s on your wishlist this Christmas! :)
